After working with entrepreneur Lisa Sorentino on a website for her online custom shoe business, solelyorthopedics.com, she asked if we would develop a companion site for her retail shoe repair store located in the Montclare neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. This “one stop fix it shop” truly is a fix-it-all shop. To capture the down home feel and scope of all they repair we spent a Saturday morning at the shop photographing customer pick ups and photo documenting the wide variety of work they do. The slider on the home page became the site’s main narrative telling the story of Mont Clare Shoe Repair in pictures.
